Background
A pinhole camera is one of a kind. These simple light tight boxes create images that are distinct and full of character. We love to experiment with pinhole photography and we love to see people of all ages create photographs that are completely unique in our artist-led workshops. Images below are from our work with the fantastic Creative Consultants, Manchester Art Gallery’s young people’s programme. Together with the young people we invited visitors to make their own pinhole camera and take a self-portrait, which was then exhibited right there in the gallery space for the day.
